Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Azure & Databricks Solution Architect to design and implement scalable cloud architectures supporting enterprise data, analytics, and AI solutions.

The role combines cloud architecture, data platform design, application modernization, and emerging Agentic AIcapabilities. The candidate will provide technical leadership and architecture governance while advising stakeholders on solution design, technology adoption, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Azure and Databricks architectures for enterprise data, analytics, and AI solutions.
• Lead application modernization initiatives using Microsoft Azure technologies and established cloud architectural patterns.
• Design secure, high-performance data platforms, pipelines, and integrations across Azure and Databricks.
• Define scalable and maintainable architectures aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
• Support Agentic AI initiatives by designing and enabling:
• • AI-powered workflows
  • Intelligent automation
  • AI-driven decision-making capabilities
• Provide technical leadership throughout solution design and implementation.
• Establish and maintain architecture governance, standards, and best practices.
• Advise business and technical stakeholders on architecture, technology choices, and solution adoption.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, AI, and application teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Identify opportunities to modernize existing applications and data platforms using Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure architecture.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines and data integrations.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native and scalable architecture patterns.
• Experience with application modernization using Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of security and performance requirements for enterprise cloud solutions.
• Experience supporting analytics and AI solutions.
• Understanding of Agentic AI, AI-powered workflows, automation, and intelligent decision-making.
• Experience providing technical architecture leadership and governance.
• Strong stakeholder advisory and consulting capabilities.

Architecture & Leadership

• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into scalable architecture.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
• Experience establishing architecture standards and governance.
• Ability to advise stakeholders on technology strategy and solution adoption.
• Strong collaboration skills across application, data, cloud, and AI teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with broader Microsoft Fabric / Azure data ecosystem.
• Experience with Azure AI and generative AI services.
• Experience designing Agentic AI architectures.
• Experience with enterprise AI/ML platforms and MLOps.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.
• Microsoft Azure or Databricks certifications.
