Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Blue Yonder Technical Consultant at Master level to support business transformation initiatives across warehouse, logistics and supply chain operations.

The role focuses on the Blue Yonder / JDA ecosystem, with strong hands-on expertise across ESP, Demand Planning, Fulfilment and Sequencing, combined with advanced SQL/PLSQL development skills.

The successful candidate will work across business analysis, technical solution design, configuration, application support and production issue resolution. A strong ability to troubleshoot critical batch and application issues, perform root-cause analysis and translate business requirements into technical solutions is essential.

Experience with Blue Yonder upgrades/migrations and integrations with SAP, BW and BO is highly desirable.

• Perform detailed root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective solutions.
• Support production defects, incidents and change requests.
• Investigate data and process issues across Blue Yonder applications and integrated systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams and application support teams.
• Ensure delivered solutions are aligned with business requirements and technical standards.
• Support testing and validation of configuration and development changes.
• Participate in Blue Yonder upgrade, migration and transformation initiatives.
• Analyse dependencies and impacts of application and process changes.
• Support continuous improvement of supply chain applications and processes.
• Identify opportunities for performance tuning and automation.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to other team members.
• Maintain technical documentation and solution specifications.

Blue Yonder / JDA

• Strong hands-on experience with Blue Yonder / JDA solutions.
• Strong experience with Blue Yonder ESP.
• Strong experience with Blue Yonder Demand Planning (DP).
• Strong experience with Blue Yonder Fulfilment.
• Experience working across multiple components of the Blue Yonder ecosystem.
• Ability to configure, customise and troubleshoot Blue Yonder applications.
• Understanding of supply chain planning and fulfilment processes.

SQL / PL/SQL

• Strong hands-on SQL and PL/SQL development experience.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL/PLSQL queries and procedures.
• Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to investigate application failures and data discrepancies at database level.
• Experience supporting high-volume enterprise applications and batch processes.

Production Support

• Strong experience in production support environments.

The Master-level Blue Yonder Technical Consultant is expected to act as a subject matter expert across complex Blue Yonder environments and supply-chain transformation initiatives.

The candidate should be capable of independently analysing business and technical requirements, designing solutions, performing advanced Blue Yonder configuration and SQL/PLSQL development, and resolving complex production and batch issues.

The role requires strong ownership of critical incidents and the ability to perform detailed root-cause analysis across application, database and integration layers.

The candidate should also be able to provide technical leadership, guide other team members and work effectively with senior business and technical stakeholders in large-scale Supply Chain Operations transformation programmes.
