Role Overview

The Application Architect will be responsible for the design, development, and technical leadership of enterprise applications based on the Microsoft .NET / C# technology stack. The role requires strong hands-on development expertise combined with the ability to define scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and Microsoft .NET
• Strong knowledge of .NET Core / modern .NET
• Proven experience in application architecture and software design
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and Clean Code
• Experience designing and developing enterprise-grade applications
• Strong experience with REST APIs / Web Services
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Git and CI/CD
• Experience with application integration and distributed systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform code reviews and ensure development quality
• Experience providing technical guidance and mentoring to development teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain application architecture and technical solutions.
• Design and develop scalable and secure .NET/C# applications.
• Translate functional and business requirements into technical designs.
• Lead technical development activities and support the development team.
• Review code and ensure compliance with architecture and development standards.
• Design and implement APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Support CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development teams.
• Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decisions.

Seniority Expectations – Master

The candidate should have strong senior-level experience in C#/.NET development and application architecture, with the ability to independently design technical solutions, lead development activities, make architectural decisions, and provide technical direction to other developers.

German language proficiency is mandatory for the role.
