Role Overview

AI Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and integrating AI-powered solutions within enterprise environments. The role focuses on building backend services, integrating AI models with enterprise systems, implementing retrieval and orchestration workflows, and delivering scalable, production-ready AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI components, backend services, and REST APIs
• Integrate AI models, enterprise data sources, and business applications
• Implement prompt engineering workflows, retrieval mechanisms, orchestration, and automation capabilities
• Develop and optimize Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Test, troubleshoot, and optimize AI solutions for accuracy, performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Support proof of concepts (PoCs), MVP development, demonstrations, and iterative product enhancements
• Collaborate with solution architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
• Produce reusable, maintainable code and comprehensive technical documentation
• Follow software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and version control

Required Skills

• Experience in AI engineering, software development, or machine learning
• Strong Python development skills
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
• Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience with vector search technologies and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts
• Familiarity with cloud AI services
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and debugging skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar
• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, ChromaDB, FAISS)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud
• Experience with prompt engineering and AI evaluation techniques
