Role Overview

The SAP FICO Technofunctional Consultant will be responsible for supporting, integrating, and coordinating SAP FICO solutions with finance satellite and banking systems. The role requires strong functional expertise in SAP FICO combined with a good understanding of banking interfaces, financial data structures, integration technologies, and technofunctional solution design.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP technical teams, vendors, third-party support teams, and AMS providers to ensure reliable integration between SAP and external finance and banking systems.

 

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP FICO
  • Strong understanding of Finance processes and SAP financial data structures
  • Experience with banking systems and financial interfaces
  • Knowledge of SWIFT interfaces or similar banking solutions
  • Understanding of banking file formats and financial data structures

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional and technofunctional expertise for SAP FICO solutions.
  • Manage and support integrations between SAP FICO and finance satellite systems.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot interfaces between SAP, banking systems, and external finance applications.
  • Support SWIFT and other banking interfaces, including analysis of banking files and financial data structures.
  • Coordinate integration activities involving GetPaid, JP Morgan, C2FO, Concur, IT2, Citadel, BTA/Visa/Airplus, Autobank, BW, and other finance satellites.
  • Design and document functional and technical requirements for SAP-to-satellite integrations.
  • Work with SAP CPI teams to define and support integration solutions.
  • Provide functional specifications and communicate requirements to ABAP developers.
  • Review and validate technical solutions delivered by development and integration teams.
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable functional/technical solutions.
  • Support incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and resolution of integration issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors, AMS providers, third-party support teams, and internal technical teams.
  • Manage project activities, dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support testing, deployment, and maintenance of finance interfaces.
  • Ensure proper documentation of interfaces, data flows, functional processes, and technical solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of SAP FICO integration processes and satellite system landscape.

 

Seniority Expectations – Master

The candidate should have strong senior-level experience in SAP FICO and enterprise finance integrations, with the ability to independently analyse complex integration scenarios, design technofunctional solutions, coordinate technical teams, and manage relationships with vendors and AMS providers.

At Master level, the candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of SAP FICO functional processes, banking interfaces, financial data structures, satellite systems, SAP CPI, and basic ABAP concepts, with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation.

Experience with SWIFT interfaces and multiple finance satellite systems, particularly GetPaid, is highly valuable for the role.
