Role Overview

Senior SAP Basis Consultant responsible for supporting and maintaining SAP landscapes operating in RISE with SAP environments. The role focuses on SAP Basis administration, Solution Manager operations, transport management, technical monitoring, system optimization, and coordination with SAP, hyperscalers, IBM, and customer teams to ensure stable and secure SAP operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support SAP systems running in RISE with SAP environments
• Coordinate technical activities with SAP, hyperscalers, IBM, and customer teams
• Manage incidents, service requests, and SAP support tickets to ensure timely resolution
• Configure and maintain SAP Transport Management and ChaRM processes
• Support SAP landscape synchronization and change management activities
• Configure and maintain SAP Solution Manager monitoring capabilities, including Technical Monitoring, System Monitoring, EarlyWatch Alert, Job Monitoring, Interface Monitoring, Availability Monitoring, and Alert Inbox
• Connect and maintain managed systems within SAP Solution Manager, including RFC configuration, Extractor Framework, Data Suppliers, and background job administration
• Perform SAP HANA performance analysis, memory management, workload optimization, and system tuning
• Support SAP security administration, including user management, roles, and authorizations
• Contribute to both implementation projects and day-to-day SAP Basis operations
• Produce technical documentation and promote operational best practices

Required Skills

• Strong experience working in RISE with SAP environments
• Extensive SAP Basis administration experience
• Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Gateway, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector, and SAP Solution Manager
• Experience with SAP Transport Management and ChaRM administration
• Experience configuring SAP monitoring and alerting capabilities
• Knowledge of SAP HANA performance tuning and system optimization
• Experience configuring RFC connections and Solution Manager managed systems
• Good understanding of SAP security concepts, user administration, and authorizations
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
