Role Overview

Mainframe Application Developer responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise mainframe applications within a structured production environment. The role focuses on delivering application enhancements, resolving defects, and ensuring the stability and performance of business-critical systems while collaborating with international teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise mainframe applications
• Analyze business and technical requirements and implement application changes
• Resolve production incidents and application defects
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and technical troubleshooting
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and support teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in application maintenance, performance improvements, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with development standards and quality guidelines

Required Skills

• Experience developing applications on IBM Mainframe platforms
• Knowledge of COBOL, CICS, and JCL
• Experience working in enterprise production environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues
• Fluent French
• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Experience with DB2, IMS, or VSAM
• Banking or financial services experience
