Role Overview
Senior SAP BTP Backend Developer responsible for developing enterprise backend services and AI-enabled applications on SAP Business Technology Platform. The role focuses on API development, SAP BTP integration, GenAI connectivity, and delivering scalable, secure backend services for enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using TypeScript and Node.js
- Build and maintain APIs for enterprise applications
- Implement integrations with SAP BTP services and enterprise systems
- Integrate AI capabilities using SAP AI Core or enterprise GenAI services
- Design and validate API contracts, payloads, and schemas
- Ensure application security, tenant isolation, observability, and operational reliability
- Collaborate with architects and development teams throughout the solution lifecycle

Required Skills
- Strong production experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience developing enterprise backend services
- Knowledge of SAP BTP integration patterns, connectivity, destinations, authentication, and SaaS concepts
- Hands-on experience with SAP AI Core or enterprise GenAI integration scenarios
- Experience designing REST APIs and backend service contracts
- Understanding of identity management, authorization, logging, observability, and data protection
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience building prototypes, automated tests, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
- Experience with Joule extensibility or Joule integration
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, CAP, or SAP Build

- Experience designing APIs for React-based frontend applications
- Familiarity with SAP support platforms such as SAP for Me or Guided Answers
