Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Integration / EAI Technical Lead with strong technical leadership, migration, implementation, and issue-resolution capabilities.

The role will be responsible for leading technical migration and integration activities, coordinating technical tasks, driving solution implementation, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring that technical documentation and delivery standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

The candidate will work closely with technical, functional, application, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution of integration and migration activities while applying SAP best practices and SAP methodology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical migration and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) activities.

• Lead the technical implementation of integration solutions across enterprise applications and SAP environments.

• Coordinate and oversee technical tasks, activities, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Apply SAP best practices, standards, and methodology throughout solution design and implementation.

• Lead the implementation and technical execution of integration solutions.

• Analyze complex technical issues and drive them through to resolution.

• Discuss, coordinate, and lead the execution of issue-solving activities with technical and functional teams.

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to project team members.

• Coordinate technical activities across integration, application, SAP, infrastructure, and other relevant technical teams.

• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and potential implementation issues and ensure appropriate mitigation.

• Support technical migration planning, execution, testing, and deployment activities.

• Ensure technical solutions are implemented according to agreed architecture, design, security, and integration standards.

• Review technical deliverables and ensure adherence to project and SAP quality standards.

• Maintain and ensure completeness of technical documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, integration documentation, and implementation records.

• Support defect analysis, root-cause investigation, and technical issue resolution.

• Facilitate technical discussions with project stakeholders and drive decisions toward resolution.

• Monitor execution progress and ensure technical tasks are completed according to agreed timelines.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, standardization, and increased delivery efficiency.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of technical migration and integration processes.

• Support knowledge transfer and ensure technical knowledge is effectively documented and shared.

• Ensure implementation activities remain aligned with overall solution architecture and project objectives.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI).

• Strong experience leading technical implementation and migration activities.

• Strong understanding of enterprise integration concepts and integration architecture.

• Experience coordinating complex technical tasks across multiple teams.

• Strong experience with SAP technical implementation and SAP methodology.

• Experience applying SAP best practices within implementation and migration programs.

• Strong technical problem-solving and issue-resolution capabilities.

• Experience leading technical defect analysis and root-cause investigation.

• Ability to coordinate and drive technical issue-resolution activities.

• Experience producing and maintaining technical documentation.

• Understanding of application integration patterns, interfaces, APIs, and enterprise integration processes.

• Ability to translate technical requirements into implementable integration solutions.

• Experience working across SAP and non-SAP application landscapes.

• Strong understanding of technical dependencies between enterprise applications.

• Experience with technical testing, deployment, migration, and implementation activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAP integration and enterprise application integration programs.

• Experience with SAP integration technologies such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud Integration, SAP PI/PO, APIs, IDocs, RFC, or web services.

• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation, migration, or implementation programs.

• Experience in large-scale enterprise integration landscapes.

• Experience coordinating multi-country or international SAP implementations.

• Experience with integration testing, deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities.

• Experience defining integration standards, reusable patterns, and technical best practices.

• Experience driving technical process improvement and automation initiatives.

• Knowledge of cloud-based integration and enterprise application platforms is an advantage.
