Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Integration Developer with strong experience in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), ESQL, Java and IBM MQ to design, implement, test and support enterprise integration solutions.

The role focuses on implementing interface specifications across JSON, XML and SOAP, analysing and resolving defects and incidents, supporting testing activities, and collaborating with customers, developers and testers throughout the software development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will also contribute to CI/CD, container deployments, unit testing and integration testing, as well as effort estimation and delivery planning. Experience in insurance, particularly life insurance, and IBM Cloud/Kubernetes/OpenShift environments is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement interface specifications using ESQL and Java.

I would prioritise ACE + ESQL + IBM MQ over generic Java or Cloud FullStack experience, as these are the core technologies defining the role.
